With over 25 years of experience, Dan manages the brands of some of Western Australia's largest design accounts. Leading a team of ten specialist designers, he oversees projects from concept to production across a broad range of design disciplines, including corporate identity and branding, book publication, packaging, interior design, digital, and campaign advertising. His approach to design bucks-the-trend of many industry standards, including being a design director without the designer beard.
Dan's work and words have been recognised both nationally and internationally, earning accolades at major international and national design award shows as one of WA’s most awarded creatives. His team has been recognised at the Cannes Design Lions, Clio, Spikes Asia, AdFest, London Internationals, and more.
He has twice been a finalist in the PADCDiamond Skull Awards for 'Designer of the Year’ and recently a finalist in Campaign Brief’s 2025 ‘Ad Person of the Year’. He has published two books and has also served as a judge for the AGDA (Australian Graphic Design Awards) Awards, AWARD Awards, Good Design Awards, Australian Web Awards, and various regional creative award shows.
He is a strong advocate of design for social good and a regular speaker and lecturer in design.
